On
my Graduation Day, June 2nd 2007.
My name is Netta Hirvensalo, and I'm a 20-year-old
translator-in-the-making. I major in the Translation and Interpretation
of English at the University of Helsinki, Department of Translation
Studies. The department is located in Kouvola, where I resided my
first academic year, but at the moment I am doing most of my studies
in Helsinki and expanding my repertoire to Comparative Literature
as well, living in a tiny but charming apartment nearby the centre
of Helsinki. Ronja and Ria are both staying with my parents, but
make sure I remember to drop by regularly.
